It was a great weekend for our Para Sports stars with medals on the bike in Mangiano, Italy and in the pool in Minneapolis, USA.
Katie-George Dunlevy and Linda Kelly got the weekend off to a flier landing Gold in the Time Trial at the Para-Cycling World Cup in Italy on Friday and then followed up by taking Gold in the Road Race on Sunday.
The pair proved too strong for their competitors in the women’s tandem race as they finished one minute and 13 seconds ahead of second place. Josephine Healion and Eve McCrystal finished in tenth place.
Ronan Grimes also scored a bronze medal in the Time Trial on Friday.
There were also three medals for the Para-swimming team competing at the Citi Para Swimming world Series event in Minneapolis.
