Sport comes in all shapes and sizes and we try to give as broad a coverage to as many forms as possible, connected always to a business connection.

On Friday afternoon in the Phoenix Park Polo took centre stage as an Irish selection took on Team Canada in a charity fundraiser for Breast Cancer Ireland.

Ireland emerged victorious on a score of 7-5 and in a nod to the sports social roots, the teams, celebrities in attendance and guests then retired to the Residence at St Stephens Green for the after party.

They were brought there in a cavalcade of Nissan cars, reflecting that brand’s overall sponsorship of the day and the two team captains are also worth noting with Colm Kelleher of LHW Insurance leading the home team and Andrew Rivkin, one of the biggest names in casual gaming and fantasy sports as the founder of Cryptologic and Fun Technologies wearing the arm band for Canada.
