Pinergy will be the sponsor at Thomond Park in Limerick on Saturday, November 2nd when Munster face a formidable All Blacks XV.

The game will be live-streamed through Munster Rugby’s Access Munster online platform.

The All Blacks XV, boasting a squad brimming with talent, including ten capped All Blacks, promises a thrilling contest. Players like Finlay Christie, Quinn Tupaea and Hoskins Sotutu bring senior All-Black international experience, ensuring a captivating spectacle and an exhibition of flowing rugby for fans.

This sold-out fixture marks a significant occasion for Munster Rugby, offering a unique opportunity for fans to witness their team take on a touring side packed with world-class talent.

Saturday week’s game will see Munster Rugby aim to secure another historic win over a Southern Hemisphere team after facing up against a Super Rugby side, 2023 Champions Crusaders, last season. That match was held at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh in front of a sell-out 40,885 attendance and saw Munster Rugby edge out the Christchurch crew 21-19.

Attention now turns to this season’s clash, with two sides set to add even more anticipation and excitement to what is already shaping up to be a thrilling fixture.

Pinergy, in collaboration with fellow Munster Rugby partner Keane’s Jewellers, has commissioned a unique trophy to be presented to the winning captain and will also present the Player of the Match award.

“At Pinergy, we are very excited and looking forward to this game between two formidable teams both of long-standing histories in the story of rugby,” said Enda Gunnell, Pinergy CEO.

The energy, both on and off the pitch, is set to be immense as the sold-out fixture demonstrates the excitement and significance of the clash. As we continue our proud support of Munster Rugby, we are delighted to support this game and encourage all fans to get behind the occasion and turn Thomond Park red. Let’s hope it’s another famous victory for Munster”

“We are delighted to finally have this highly-anticipated fixture upon us,” added Ian Flanagan, CEO of Munster Rugby.

“We know the power and atmosphere that Munster supporters bring to these big occasions and the huge boost it gives from our Munster team of supporters to players and management. We look forward to welcoming fans from all over Ireland and further afield to our home of rugby here in Thomond Park. We are excited to see and hear the Red Army again taking over the stadium.”

As the Official Energy Partner, Pinergy provides renewable energy to Thomond Park and Virgin Media Stadium, assisting Munster Rugby in optimizing energy consumption through smart measurement and LED lighting retrofits. Their 10-year partnership, initiated in 2021, supports Munster Rugby’s ambition to become a leading sustainable brand in world rugby.
