The places are filling fast now for the opportunity to pitch one great sporting sponsorship idea for 2023 to an audience of peers, brands, agencies and sponsorship professionals at the Sport for Business 20:20 event on September 16th.

The Gaelic Players Association, Special Olympics Ireland, Goal, Vision Sports Ireland, the FAI, Greyhound Racing Ireland, Paralympics Ireland and Bohemian FC are among the sporting bodies to confirm so far for what will be a great way for both sides of the Sport for Business equation to come together at a key stage of planning and budgeting for next year.

Bringing people together is a significant part of what Sport for Business is all about and this will be a showcase for imaginative projects that can be brought to life with sponsorship support from across the wide breadth of our sporting organisations and sporting bodies.

When we last held the event in 2019 it served as the spark for Sports Direct’s subsequent commitment to Gaelic 4 Mothers and Others.

This year we will present 20 individual sporting projects, in three categories of value Up to €10,000, up to €30,000 and €30,000 plus, before an audience of potential sponsors and the agencies that play such an important role in guiding their thinking.

The session will also include areas of information and education in relation to the discovery of what commercial partners look for, the importance of purpose in projects and more.

It will take place at the Sport Ireland Campus Conference Centre on the morning of Friday, September 16th and we look forward to seeing a great gathering of those working on both sides of the commercial world of Irish sport.
