Ireland play Wales in the Six Nations U20 Championship tonight and this is the 20th year in which both a team has been entered and that PwC has been it’s partner.
The first Ireland U20s team was announced in 2006 with PwC as their sponsor.
In the two decades since then, that support has expanded to nine squads across male and female teams in the Rugby 7s, Rugby 15s, and Interprovincial levels.
The partnership isn’t just supplying financial support, but assisting the teams in fostering strong cultures of equality, leadership, talent development, and performance excellence.
As part of the 20th Anniversary celebrations PwC commissioned a conversation with three of the players who have shone at this level over the period, including Jordi Murphy, Calvin Nash and Dan Sheehan who will tomorrow captain Ireland for the first time.
SPORT FOR BUSINESS PERSPECTIVE
Telling the stories of the players is a key part of a partnership and how sport continues to engage with fan. This is a great way of doing this while celebrating the long term support that PwC has provided.
