It doesn’t take a million euro to make a good piece of video content but it does take imagination and with a bit of clever editing and a sprinkling of star appeal it can work really well.
The Staff Relay Series is a team event for five runners each running five kilometres on a track through the Phoenix Park and finishing through a tented village where companies have their own social bases from which to cheer on their colleagues.
This year’s event is the second in which PwC have been involved as title sponsors and takes place on Thursday, May 24 @ 18:00.
They worked with World Champion Derval O’Rourke, Five-Time All Ireland Champion Philly McMahon and a host of staff including Managing Partner Fergal O’Rourke to produce a video that serves as a ‘come on’ internally, as a brochure on PwC’s Dublin offices being a pretty cool place to work and as a promotional vehicle for the event.
Over 300 companies took part in last year’s event and race organisers expect to see up to 7,000 participants from all over the greater Dublin area and beyond at the 2018 night.
Sponsors PwC are the largest single contributor to the event. Speaking at the launch, Susan Kilty, People Partner, PwC, said: “Last year we had over 75 teams participating in the Staff Relay Series which proved wonderful excitement, fun and rivalry and we are delighted to be involved again in 2018.
