Cricket Ireland are within shouting distance of a complete sell out for the visit of England this Friday, which will please the management of Royal London who have come on board as official partners for the match.

Sky TV camera positions are being finalised and the broadcaster will be taking over much of the accommodation in the town as it gears up to show Irish cricket to over 120 countries around the world.

The match will be new Head Coach John Fitzgerald’s first in charge of the team.

Fingers are crossed now for the long range weather forecast to shift away from it’s current bleak outlook for Friday where there is presently a 90+ per cent likelihood of rain through the afternoon.
