Rowing Ireland has announced a new partnership with Coillte, Ireland’s largest forest manager and provider of outdoor recreation
The partnership sees Coillte become one of the official partners of Rowing Ireland, supporting athletes training and competing in river, coastal, offshore and indoor rowing.
Rowing Ireland’s state-of-the-art Training Centre, located in Farran Forest Park, Co. Cork, one of Coillte’s 12 forest parks nationwide, is a central hub for nurturing Ireland’s growing elite rowing talent and preparing athletes for national and international competitions since 2007.
“We are delighted to embark on this exciting journey with Rowing Ireland, bringing together the natural beauty and resources of Coillte’s forests and woodlands with the drive and determination of Rowing Ireland athletes,” said Coillte CEO Imelda Hurley.
