Gaelic Games action will return to our screens on Saturday 8th May when Joanne Cantwell presents live coverage of Limerick v Tipperary from LIT Gaelic Grounds in Limerick in Round 1 of the Allianz Hurling League.

Allianz League Sunday on RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player will return the following day with all the action from the other games around the country across the first weekend of action in almost five months.

Liam Sheedy’s Tipperary side are back in front of the RTÉ cameras the following week for the visit of Cork to Sample Stadium.

The third live match to be announced is Donegal v Monaghan in football live from Ballybofey on May 22nd.

Allianz League Sunday will be broadcast each week on the run through the two campaigns leading up to the finals in June.

TG4 announced that they would be showing 25 games across the campaigns as well as eir sport returning to the broadcast networks for what will likely be a final time.
