The Irish-based Run Republic Group has confirmed its acquisition of RunIreland, a leading platform dedicated to event organizers, Irish athletes, and running enthusiasts.
The acquisition marks a significant milestone in Run Republic’s mission to deliver unparalleled news coverage of Irish athletes in competitions, an extensive race calendar, and steadfast support for recreational runners and running groups nationwide.
Adam O’Connor will join the Run Republic Group team as part of the acquisition.

Active Pix, the race content capture service, is also part of Ryan’s expanding portfolio of running-related services.
Run Republic is a lively and continually updating source of race information and reports, with coverage yesterday from the weekend Waterford Viking Marathon and Michael Manning Memorial Dunshaughlin 10K.
Sport for Business will host its Annual Sponsorship Showcase on Thursday, October 17th. This is one of many events planned for the remainder of 2024.
