BO’D Signs on for Newstalk
Newstalk has signed up the services of Brian O’Driscoll as it’s premier Rugby correspondent for an additional two years. He will feature as part of Newstalk’s coverage of the Rugby World Cup, alongside other former players and media commentators Keith Wood and Liam Toland as part of the Newstalk and Off the Ball teams.
Olympic Stadium unveiled
Pictures have been released of the London Olympic Stadium and how it will look for today’s clash between France and Romania at 8pm this evening.
The stadium played host to London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games and will now be turned over for the use of West Ham United in the Premier League. The relaying of the pitch and the seating with a new capacity of 55,000 was first trialled during a warm up game featuring the Barbarians last month.
It is hoped that the problem with sprinklers which went off mid game have been resolved…
