They haven’t won away from home since June, and haven’t beaten Derry City in the last seven meetings but that’s what Shelbourne have to do tonight to win a first SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division title in 18 years.

The players decided to travel up today to keep it as close to a normal game as they can.

Shamrock Rovers will be waiting to catch the dream should Shels falter and they beat Waterford.

The drama of the campaign has been compelling and will play out tonight live on RTÉ with both games being covered.

Derry City v Shelbourne will be live on RTÉ2 while Shamrock Rovers against Waterford will be live on the RTÉ News Channel.

This will be must watch drama.

Both games will also be live on the RTÉ Player.
