
Half the tickets are already gone through last year’s successful season ticket sale but with demand likely to be high the chance to get tickets in advance is something which Spar saw immediate value in as part of their recent coming on board as official convenience retail partner with the association.
The two stores on Dame Street and the Millennium Walkway in the City Centre sold tickets between 4pm and 8pm yesterday and will do so again today before the tickets go on general sale through the FAI ticket portal, Ticketmaster and usual outlets.
We live in a world where online is the main show in town when it comes to ticket releases. Spinning wheels on phones and computers have taken the place of physically standing in line to get your hands on a ticket but Spar and the FAI have gone retro in a smart move to draw fans towards the stores, at just the right time when they will be heading home and wondering what to get for the dinner.
