Data analyticsA meeting will take place today of a core group of Sport for Business members exploring ways in which the sports analytics sector can be nurtured and encouraged in Ireland over the coming months and years.

A similar grouping will gather next week to further the talks held recently on a new way forward and new opportunities arising out of sport and philanthropy.

Last week we held a meeting of the Irish Sports Tourism Alliance, an organisation to have arisen from the Sport for Business Sports Tourism Seminar we hosted last month at the GAA Museum in Croke Park.

These are three of the initiatives which Sport for Business is developing with members as we head into 2014.

Later this week we will reveal more of our plans for the next twelve months. We will also reveal a new membership structure to encourage broader participation of those who want to build better structures and a stronger return on investment between sport and business.

To make sure you are among the first to learn of these new structures and plans, sign up to our Daily News Digest below.  We look forward to working with you in the months and years to come.

Sport for Business is a membership organisation. We help sport reach out to business, and business to engage the power of sport in its management, marketing and values. We publish a free daily news digest on the commercial world of Irish sport, we bring together smart minds in round table and larger formats, and we create initiatives among our members that make a difference.
