2026 Lidl National Football Leagues – Division 4
The Lidl National Football Leagues begin this Sunday with four Division 4 fixtures.
Carlow host Sligo at SETU Carlow, Wicklow face Offaly at Bray Emmets 3G, Derry welcome Kilkenny to Owenbeg, while Longford v Leitrim at Glennon Brothers Pearse Park will be live-streamed on the Ladies Gaelic Football Association Facebook and YouTube channels.
The campaign also marks the first public trial of the 12 new rule enhancements, adding an extra layer of intrigue to the opening round.

AAI Games and National Indoor Combined Events Championships – Abbotstown
Several of Ireland’s leading athletes open or build their indoor seasons at the AAI Games and the 123.ie National Indoor Combined Events Championships, hosted at the Sport Ireland National Indoor Arena.
Saturday’s AAI Games feature strong fields across all track and field events, while Sunday decides national combined events titles. The first national medals of 2026 will be awarded on Saturday afternoon in the 4x400m mixed relay, with Dundrum South Dublin AC defending their title against challengers including Mero/St Brigid’s, Letterkenny AC, Ratoath AC and UCD AC.
