TG4 has confirmed its most extensive-ever coverage of the Allianz Football and Hurling Leagues, with more than 45 live games scheduled between January 24 and April 5, reinforcing its position as the home of live GAA league action.
The expanded slate will span every level of both competitions, with live matches from Football Divisions 1 to 4 and Hurling Divisions 1A, 1B and 2, alongside full live coverage of all league finals. For supporters, it represents unprecedented access to the spring leagues, with marquee fixtures, promotion and relegation battles, and silverware all available free-to-air and online.
A major highlight of the 2026 schedule is the return of the hugely popular Football League Super Sunday on March 22, when TG4 will deliver multi-screen coverage of the final round of Division 1 and 2 fixtures via GAA Beo. The format, which allows viewers to follow decisive moments as they happen across multiple venues, has become a defining feature of TG4’s Allianz League coverage. Final fixture confirmations for Super Sunday will be announced closer to the date.
For the first time, that concept will be extended to hurling, with a Hurling League Super Saturday planned for March 21. TG4’s multi-screen coverage will capture the closing round drama across the hurling divisions, as counties jostle for league finals places and to avoid relegation.
The live action begins this Saturday, January 24, with a blockbuster Allianz Football League Division 1 opener as Dublin host Donegal at Croke Park. That is followed on Sunday by Galway v Mayo at Pearse Stadium and Kerry v Roscommon in Killarney. Hurling gets underway on the same afternoon, with Cork welcoming Waterford to SuperValu Páirc Uà Chaoimh in Division 1A.
Beyond live games, TG4’s weekly highlights programme GAA 2026 will air every Monday night at 8pm throughout the leagues, offering a comprehensive round-up of the weekend’s action. The programme will also feature additional interviews, coverage of the Lidl Ladies Football Leagues, and highlights from underage and third-level competitions, ensuring a broad view of the GAA landscape.
