Business networking is set to move up through the gears with the launch of The Network Cycle, and its new approach to corporate hospitality.
Devised by Elite Event Management, The Network Cycle is an exclusive gathering of the business community who love cycling. It’s an opportunity to partake in a high-end corporate cycling event, for a day of networking and wellness.
The Network Cycle was voted the winner of this year’s opportunities at the Sport for Business Sponsorship Showcase last October and we are delighted to see it come to life.
An alternative corporate entertainment option to the more traditional forms of entertaining at a match or on a golf course, the first Network Cycle event of 2024 takes place in Cork on Friday 10th of May.
It will be hosted from the luxurious 5 star Castlemartyr Resort, and will be a new highlight of the Cork Business Networking calendar.
There is the added bonus of raising funds for charity partner St. Lukes Home.
The event was launched at St Luke’s Home in Cork by Simon Coveney, Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, it is aimed at business people with a passion for cycling.
“Participants in The Network Cycle can look forward to an exhilarating day, with options for a 50km leisurely cycle or a more fast paced 100km cycle,” said Event Founder Oliver Kirwan.
“The event showcases the stunning East Cork landscape, fosters physical and mental wellbeing, and provides a platform for colleagues and clients to engage, collaborate, and strengthen relationships.”
Cyclists will be greeted with exclusive goodie bags, enjoy a nutritious breakfast, snacks along the route, and a gourmet lunch. Additional benefits include bike checks and services, celebrity cyclists and industry experts, morning yoga session and post cycle massages.
