Sponsorship partnerships in 2017 are all about delivering to the bottom line as well as in terms of awareness and AIG timed the first day of the school summer holidays to launch a new Travel insurance deal using it’s partnership with Dublin GAA as a hook.

The discount is available to all, with no specific requirement or code for Dublin GAA members or fans and the pages online at AIG.ie do not have any particular reference to the Dublin partnership.

Interviews with the players and references to the deal as well as imagery appears across all newspapers this morning though, providing a boost in awareness at a key time that helps make the partnership pay for itself.
