Sport for Business members had a winning night at the Event Industry Awards that took place in Dublin on Friday night.
Croke Park won two awards for the Best Purpose Built Venue and the Best In House Events Team.
The Aer Lingus College Football Classic won the nod for Best Sporting Event of the year while Abbey Conference and Events took the prize for Best Professional Conference Organiser.
The Right Half won the Award for Innovation with the Wild Air Run concept while AIB won the Best Award Ceremony gong for their Build A Bank Challenge Final.
Others from within our community to have been shortlisted on the night included Corporate.ie, the One-Zero Conference which will take place again this year on October 17th, Thomond Park Stadium, the Affidea Rock ‘n Roll Half Marathon and Quest Glendalough.
The Outstanding Contribution Award for 2017 went to Terri Cullinane who has been a key player within business and events tourism in Ireland over the past 25 years.
