From Hope Solo to Sam Torrance, and Frank Bruno through to Tony McCoy this was a day with gems of quality dropping in every direction. We had Sean O’Brien and Tadhg Furlong sharing their experience of the Lions Tour, leaders in eSports; game changers in the promotion of Women in Sport; conversations about how information would be distributed around stadia of the future and a rip-roaring discussion between Fintan Drury, Darren Bailey and Andy Anson on the Future of Football.
We spoke of Journalism and Social media, Player Data and Performance Nutrition, Leadership and so much more.
Over the coming days, we will collect and share some of the moments as a reminder for those that were there and a save the date spark for those who might wish to be part of One Zero 2018 when we gather again twelve months from now.
Our special thanks to Croke Park, Avcom and the One Zero team who put on a great show; to our sponsors and partners Teneo Sport, Dublin City Council, RTÉ Sport, The Irish Times, BDO, Journey Partners, Pundit Arena and Sport for Business all of whom kept the faith and backed the potential of bringing such an event to our great city; to our speakers who travelled from the four corners of the world to share their stories; to our moderators Jim Breen, Marie Crowe, Joanne Cantwell, Joe Molloy, Richard Barrett, Rob Hartnett, Geoff Wilson, Andy McGeady, Emmet Ryan, Danny Lennon, Alex South and Paddy Power; to our MC Evanne Ní Chuillin who kept us on our game throughout; and to you who came to support the event, who said kind things about what we were building and who we look forward to seeing again.
Above and below are some of the images that capture the heart of what One Zero 2017 was all about, as well as some of the social media posts that had us trending throughout the day and reports from other media who dropped by to experience what we are about.
