Eirgrid wil be blessed with a novel All Ireland final pairing in the first year of the company’s three year sponsorship of the U21 All Ireland Football Championship.
Tipperary knocked out Dublin on Saturday, to secure their first All Ireland Final at this level and they will be joined by Tyrone for the final after a weekend where favourites tumbled by the wayside.
It is Eirgrid’s first GAA sponsorship at national level and will also feature a special awards presentation for 21 players from the Championships.
The company has used Bryan Cullen and Michael Meehan, from Dublin and Galway respectively as ambassadors throughout the campaign so far.
The semi finals were broadcast live on TG4 over the weekend and Tyrone’s Padraig Hampsey is pictured above receiving his Man of the Match Award from Eirgrid Community Liaison Manager Alan Kelly.
