Athletics Ireland is among the leading sports governing bodies in spreading its message through online channels and social media.
It is now seeking a PR and Social Media Executive to build on the good work undertaken by Kenneth Kiernan over the past two years.
The role will require keeping media in all its formats up to date on Irish progress at the major domestic and international events, as well as promoting Athletics Ireland initiatives and recreational races.
The role is likely to be ‘always on’ and will require a high level of initiative and understanding of sport and social media. The successful candidate will also be involved in activities around sponsorship and live streaming so it will be a great grounding in the areas that matter most in terms of creating the right impression and audience for sporting achievement.
