The sporting world is in shock after the death at the age of 40 of one of rugby’s greatest ever players Jonah Lomu. The 63 time capped All Black passed away while on holiday with his family after attending the Rugby World Cup. He had suffered with a rare kidney condition and had suffered ill health throughout his retirement from the game.
Earlier this year he featured in an advertising campaign for Heineken around the Rugby World Cup, surprising customers in a pub in Clontarf as part of a campaign video we shared here.
This online tribute is a reminder of the man and his impact on the sport.
