Scott Graham (above left alongside CEO Chis Kitchen) is to leave Triathlon Ireland for a new role with PSG Sponsorship.
Graham has been responsible for the promotion of the sport for over four years during which time the number of participants, clubs and events has doubled.
The move means there is now a vacancy for a Head of Marketing and Communications at the National Governing Body.
The role will involve managing the marketing and media relations functions as well as developing existing and new commercial partnerships.
It is a great opportunity heading into an Olympic year with Aileen Reed ranked ninth in the World and hopeful of being a major contender in Rio.
Triathlon Ireland has a number of strong commercial partnerships headed up by Vodafone.
Graham is the latest in a growing band of young executives leaving sporting governing bodies to work in the Agency world.
Rachel Solon from Sailing, Sarah O’Connor from the Federation of Irish Sport and Sinead Galvin from Athletics have all joined WHPR in the past year while Jennifer Gleeson has left the GAA to join up with Lidl.
