One of the biggest sporting events of the weekend will take place at the Tattersalls International Horse trials opposite Fairyhouse racecourse in Meath.
Over 330 International and National eventing riders and their horses will compete in front of a crowd expected to top 25,000 and to secure Olympic places in the process.
Ireland’s highest ranked rider in the world, Aoife Clark will be competing alongside Sarah Ennis and the in-form Padraig McCarthy, as well as a host of international stars including actual royalty in Zara Tindall who will be supported by husband and England rugby star Mike, and multiple Olympic medallist Andrew Hoy.
There will be a big commercial presence at the event with partners including Failte Ireland, Land Rover and Jaguar looking to capitalise on a big crowd.
There is a shopping village spanning 2.5 acres and under 12’s go free.
