There are seven Irish companies in the 30 Sports Tech start ups long listed for the Bank of Ireland sponsored #1 Draft Pick competition forming part of the One Zero Conference at Dublin’s RDS on Friday October 21st.

Nutritics, Huggity, Strategic Sports Analytics, Ultimate Rugby, Matchdays, HD Numbers and Ballzey will go head to head with companies from Brazil, Israel, Britain, Canada, Finland, Italy, France, Greece, Spain and the USA for recognition on a global platform and a €5,000 cash prize.

Three of this illustrious group will be invited to Dublin to battle it out for the prize in front of an influential audience of sporting, tech and business leaders, as well as some of the sports world’s major investors at One Zero.

There will also be keynote interviews with Lance Armstrong, Sir Clive Woodward and Shane Lowry in what is a must attend event for anyone interested in sport in all its forms and where it is heading.  Sport for Business is a co-founder of the One Zero event.

One Zero is a celebration of Sports and Technology with six panels covering investment, innovation, fan engagement, ethics, eSports and the changing face of sports media.

Among those contributing to thought leadership unlike any ever previously hosted in Ireland will be leaders from the US Olympic Committee, Bleacher Report, BT Sport, Sports Investment Partners, Draft Kings and the Sacramento Kings.
