
Sport for Business will be live today from the launch of the 2017 Liberty Insurance Ambassador Programme at Croke Park.
Rob Hartnett will be speaking about the continued importance of promoting Women in Sport, alongside Deirdre Ashe from Liberty and an impressive list of role models who will be on board with Liberty throughout 2017 in support of their continued sponsorship of the All Ireland Camogie Championships and beyond.
The day will also reveal new and updated research specially commissioned by Liberty Insurance which will give insight into the challenges that have begun to be met and those that still lie ahead.
Sport for Business will bring you an update from the event in Croke Park from Lunchtime and will publish the research findings later today.
Tomorrow is International Women’s Day and that will be marked by a variety of events focused on the role of Women in Sport including a major lunch supported by AIB and Vodafone at the Aviva Stadium and a celebration of Ireland’s Women Olympians at the Royal Hibernian Gallery tomorrow evening.
Sport for Business will also be kicking off the search for the 50 Most influential Women in Irish Sport and we will be adding a twist this year in terms of identifying those who are rising through the ranks of influence on and off the field of play in administration, media, sponsorship and more.
