The Olympic Games comes around once every four years but for athletes it is a daily experience. For Olympic sponsors that holds true as well and across the water, the British Olympics movement has already begun its promotional campaign for Tokyo 2020 with Worldwide Olympic Partner Bridgestone Tyres.
The campaign looks at the life stories of Olympians of the past and paints a picture of their following their dream, no matter what gets in the way.
Daley Thompson is first up in a campaign which will no doubt be noticed by the incoming Executive Committee at the Olympic Council of Ireland and turn their minds to how to build commercial partnerships which will help to bring the Olympics into more of an every day sporting narrative rather than the end of a four year cycle.
