The first Inside the Ropes event took place in January and gathered a private corporate audience to hear insight and anecdotes from Paul McGinley, AP McCoy, and European Tour Chief Commercial Officer, Nathan Homer.
Sport for Business was involved with Rob Hartnett acting as MC and interviewer on the night and we will be there again for an afternoon of golf and networking at the host venue for the 2007 Ryder Cup next Thursday, May 17th.
We have a number of invitations for Sport for Business members who would like to join us with golfers invited to participate in an innovative new Golf Sixes format over 12 holes on the Arnold Palmer designed course and non -golfers to take lessons at the driving range before all coming together for networking afterwards in the main clubhouse.
If you are involved in business, sponsorship or marketing and would like to join us contact us through www.insidetheropes.ie and we look forward to seeing you there.
Inside The Ropes is a series looking to go deeper in terms of the experience of being involved with a major tournament such as The Dubai Duty Free Irish Open. It was designed by the European Tour in partnership with Atomic Sport.
Simon Alliss, the Championship Director for the Open, and James Hastings-Trew, Partnerships Manager at the European Tour, will be welcoming guests with a view to giving them an insiders sense of the European Tour experience.
