TG4 is to extend its support of the Ladies Gaelic Football All Ireland Championship for a further three years. The announcement was made at the launch of the 2012 Championship which kicks into high gear this Sunday with three provincial finals taking place.
Dublin play Laois in Leinster while Cork take on Kerry in Munster and National League winners Monaghan face Donegal in Ulster.
TG4 will broadcast All Ireland Finals day from Croke Park on Sunday September 30th with the broadcast in high definition for the first time.
O’Neills Bord Gais Energy and Tesco are also main sponsors of Ladies Gaelic Football which has 1000 affiliated clubs throughout the country and employs 17 full time staff in administration and development roles.
