It was a final that had everyone on the edge of their seats and that meant a very comfortable armchair for the Linehan family from Mallow in County Cork.
They were the winners of Littlewoods Ireland’s Ultimate Croke Park Sleepover which took place on Saturday night and saw one of the All-Star Suites in the stadium transformed into a home away from home.
took place on the eve of the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Final. The fashion, sportswear, electrical and homeware retailer gave the Linehan family from Mallow, Co Cork the experience of a lifetime; to wake up in Croke Park on the morning of the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Final in a bespoke luxury suite.
John, Angela, Sean (13) and Daniel (7) get to sleep in one of the most iconic stadiums in Europe, on the eve of one of its biggest days and as a bonus every product in their suite from couches and beds to the latest fashion looks was then theirs to take home.
Littlewoods Ireland ambassador Jackie Tyrrell began the experience with a VIP tour of the stadium which included a puck around in the team warm-up area with Cork Senior Hurling Captain Seamus Harnedy.
The family also received four tickets to the match, an invitation to an exclusive Littlewoods Ireland event before the game and an overnight stay in the 4* Croke Park Hotel on the night of the match.
It brought down the curtain on a second year of sponsorship for the brand, one which also included a full design makeover for the hurling wall at Laois club Park / Ratheniska. The club colours are green. Maybe we should have taken the hint.
