Piers White has been appointed as the new Commercial Director at Mondello Park.
The co-founder of the hugely popular international Run in the Dark, has taken up the position and will be responsible for all commercial activities and partnerships, including the many major events that take place at Ireland’s only International Race Track as well as the experience days that are ever more popular among corporate customers.
White will work closely with General manager Roddy Greene who has built up the profile of the track again since joining in 2014.
Two weeks ago the track hosted the Formula Female team for a special day of racing in a one lap challenge as part of the 20X20 initiative and the weekend after next the venue will be alive to the roar of Superbikes when the Dunlop Masters Championship takes place over May 11th and 12th.
The Irish Rallycross Championship is on the following Sunday, followed by the Family Fun Day ‘Party in the Park’ on May 26th so it is a busy time to come on board.
Driver experience days at Mondello park will be part of a new Sport for Business ‘Experience’ initiative launching during the summer of 2019.
