The €1,800 cost each year of getting (almost) everything you need in sport on your TV in the corner was the subject of a discussion this morning between Kieran Cuddihy and Rob hartbnett of Sport for Business on Newstalk Breakfast.
We covered the different packages that are avaliable following the news yesterday of Sky Sports putting their packages live including all of BT Sport and ESPN coverage into a Sky Sports Extra package.
We also looked at the world of streaming and how that may yet change everything all over again.
If you were inspired by Shane Lowry we explained how that final day could be watched for €10.  If you are mad keen for the start of the Premier League or want to watch every game in the Guinness PRO14, we explain the best option.
The interview went out just after 0745 this morning and will be available to listen back to shortly on the Newstalk Listen Back service.
