The Sport for Business and One Zero partnership to Inspire Women in Sport was incredibly popular yesterday with all the free tickets which we are providing to Women members of Sport for Business to attend the One Zero Conference being quickly snapped up.
We have been able to support women from across a wide range of sporting organisations, major sponsors, education institutions and charities to join us on September 17th at the Aviva Stadium for a day of learning from around the international world of sporting business.
Additionally, we have secured a 25 percent discount for all women working in and around the business of sport to attend the one-day international event.
It is part of a shared desire to see as many women as possible in the audience as well as on stage delivering keynote discussions around sponsorship, fan engagement, broadcast and media, and sports tech and innovation.
One-Zero 2019 will see powerful and inspiring women including Heidi Browning, Chief Marketing Officer of the NHL, Swan Sit, former Vice President of Global Digital at Nike and Alexandra Willis, Head of Communications, Content and Digital at the All England Lawn Tennis Club addressing major challenges within their industries, and delivering case studies and insights around their successes.
“We have a rich mix of high profile speakers and we want to encourage women who are working in and around the business of sport to join us and be inspired,” said Patrick Haslett, CEO of One-Zero.
Sport for Business has been a long-time advocate of the importance of diversity in sport and this week launched it’s annual ‘Women of Influence in Irish Sport’ list in partnership with Liberty Insurance.
“This is a strong positive initiative which will encourage more women to step forward and put themselves where they deserve to be, at the heart of how the business of sport is developing,” added Rob Hartnett, CEO of Sport for Business.
“This is for women in sports administration, in media and sponsorship. It is for Women who want to be part of the bright and ever-expanding world of the business of sport.”
“We are delighted to bring this offer to members of the Sport for Business community who are playing an active part in that future.”
If you would like to claim the 25 percent discount on tickets for Women working in and around sport, there is a separate ticket category live on the One-Zero website at one-zero.com/tickets.
