Future Ticketing, the Tullamore based provider of high-performance ticketing software and solutions, has announced Dunfermline Athletic FC in the Scottish Football League as the latest club to join a growing list of sporting organisations adopting digital technology as they prepare for a safe return to football in 2021.
Last month the company announced a deal with the European and Mediterranean Horseracing Federation which will see it gain access to racecourses across 26 countries.
The deals are a covid-busting addition to the 300 existing companies that use Future Ticketing’s software and we will be talking to CEO Liam Holton in a forthcoming Sport for Business special on a return to sporting venues.
Already the leader in Irish Football working with all the major League of Ireland clubs, Future Ticketing’s advanced software has been rapidly embraced internationally by Scottish clubs such as Dundee United, Montrose FC, Raith Rovers and new Betfred Cup Champions St Johnstone; Arsenal Women, Barrow FC, Boreham Wood, Fleetwood Town, Rochdale AFA and Stockport County in England; and Ballymena, Crusaders, Larne, Linfield and Glentoran in Northern Ireland.
Internationally Future Ticketing partners with over 120 sports clubs and organisations including 30 professional football clubs, 26 racecourses, 12 Rugby clubs and governing bodies such as Cricket Ireland, Basketball Ireland, Gymnastics Ireland, Hockey Ireland and Badminton Ireland.
The technology upgrade at Dunfermline follows an international investment in the club in 2020 with Dunfermline committed to putting the fan at the centre of the match-day experience both inside and outside of the stadium.
“We are delighted to partner with such a historic club as Dunfermline,” said Future Ticketing Business Development Manager Ronan Burns.
“Future Ticketing is continuing to partner with sports clubs despite the pandemic and now has over 30 professional football clubs in Scotland, England and Ireland.”
“One of the lessons of the pandemic is that sports organisations will need to have a digital platform at the heart of their ticketing offering and to provide access for fans, and an increasing number of clubs are seeking to use this time to prepare for a safe return to football in due course.”
“At Future Ticketing, our guiding philosophy is to enable our clients to take control, accountability and transparency of their customer relationships and revenue streams and our software enables them to do so. We work closely with football clubs in the digital development and modernising of their ticketing systems through Data, Analytics, Our open Rest API, Insights, and Integrations.”
