We will be chatting live with the Minister of State for Sport Jack Chambers this evening as part of the opening night of the Federation of Irish Sport Sport Industry Innovation Series.
We will touch upon Government financial and organisational support for sport in the short term as we emerge from Covid restrictions and in the longer term towards the aims of the National Sports policy, as well as other key areas of interest within the sector.
Tonight’s opening show in the three-part series is focused on investment and innovation with two strong panel discussions to explore those areas.
We will be learning from Aoife Clarke of Lidl Ireland, Richie Gernon of EBS and Denise Charlton of the Community Foundation for Ireland on the subject of investment and support from a non-governmental perspective.
Then the night will finish up with a look through the lens of innovation with Cormac McDonnell and Benny Cullen of Sport Ireland and Alberto Bichi of the European platform for Sport Innovation.
It promises to be a great start to a busy week on the virtual events front.
Tickets for the Sport Industry Innovation series can still be obtained, using the platform provided by Sport for Business member Future Ticketing right here.
