One of Ireland’s leading Craft Beers, Galway Hooker, have just announced a new partnership with Adam Fitzgerald, who races for Argenti Motorsport, one the leading teams in the ROKiT British FIA Formula 4 Championship.

There is a long tradition of Irish involvement in the upper reaches of motorsport and this support will enable Fitzgerald to add to that behind the wheel.

With top speeds of over 240KM per hour, The ROKiT British Formula 4 Championship is one of the most renowned junior racing categories in the world and a stepping-stone towards the pinnacle of motorsport, the FIA Formula 1 Championship. Interest in the sport is at an all-time high following the new audience delivered by the ground-breaking Netflix series Drive to Survive.

The Formula 4 Championship takes place across 30 races around the UK between April and September. The circuits they race on include the world-famous Silverstone and Brands Hatch.

This latest addition to their sponsorship portfolio completes an action-packed number of months for Galway Hooker with an expected upcoming announcement of a new exclusive distribution deal that will see the independent Galway-based brewery distributed across the UK.

“This is the beginning of a new chapter in what will be the global story of Galway Hooker in time,” said Michael Fitzgerald, Head of Operations and Exports at the company said.

“We have been working with TITAN Experience over the past number of months to identify a series of opportunities and platforms that fit with who we are, independent, game changers, breaking the mould.”

“Adam is one of only two Irish drivers competing on a global stage week in week out and we’re backing him on his journey to make it to the highest levels in motorsport wherever that may take him. It’s an exciting journey, much like our own, and we’re looking forward to watching him compete across the rest of the ROKiT British FIA Formula 4 Championship.”

Galway Hooker is part of the Connacht Hospitality Group which owns the Connacht, Hyde and Residence Hotels in the City as well as the Púcan bar, Active 24 Fitness and Leisure and the Galway Bay Golf Resort.

It will be the sponsor of Ladies Day at the Galway Races next week.
