The FAI has announced the final two matches of the year for the Republic of Ireland Men’s team with friendly games against Norway in the Aviva Stadium on November 17th and away to Malta three days later.
The FIFA World Cup Finals get underway that Sunday in Qatar and we will also know by then who Ireland will face in the qualifiers for Euro 2024.
The Norway game is especially attractive with Manchester City striker Erling Haaland and Arsenal captain Martin Ødegaard likely starters for the visitors.
Tickets for this fixture will be on sale from next Friday, September 30th.
Stephen Kenny’s Ireland are currently preparing to face Scotland in the UEFA Nations League at Hampden Park on Saturday, September 24 before returning to Dublin to face Armenia on Tuesday, September 27.
