It’s one of the traditional moments of a game and the coin toss on Saturday night at the Aviva Stadium has given the Bank of Ireland an opportunity for a very nice piece of storytelling.
Keane’s Jewellers in Cork have been banking with the Bank for 70 years and they have created the special coin that referee Paul Williams will send into the glinting sunshine.
Simple but effective tying together some nice strands on the reward for loyalty, perhaps particularly appropriate given it will also be Keith Earls’ 100th Irish international cap.
