Yoplait SKYR has been announced as a Premium Partner of the Hiscox Padel Irish Open 2026.
The tournament, part of the Cupra FIP Tour, the International Padel Federation’s global circuit, returns to Dublin from July 14th to 19th at Star Padel, St Mary’s College Rugby Club in Templeogue.
The partnership will see Yoplait SKYR, the high-protein Icelandic-style yoghurt brand, feature prominently throughout the event, including in the Hiscox Village fan zone, where spectators will have access to food, entertainment, family activities, and brand activations alongside the on-court action.
Padel has enjoyed rapid growth in Ireland in recent years, with an estimated 60,000 people now playing the sport nationwide. The Hiscox Padel Irish Open has quickly become the leading competitive showcase for the sport on the island, combining international ranking points with a growing festival-style fan experience.
The 2026 edition has also been awarded a higher ranking on the Cupra FIP Tour than last year’s inaugural event, helping to attract a stronger field of international and Irish athletes. Prequalification rounds begin on July 15th, with the main spectator days running from Wednesday, July 15th, through to the Grand Final on Sunday, July 19th.
“We are thrilled to welcome Yoplait SKYR as Premium Partner of the 2026 Hiscox Padel Irish Open,” said Cian Branagan, CEO, ForeFront Group. “The Yoplait SKYR brand is synonymous with high performance and healthy living, values that are very much at the heart of our event and our sport. Having them in the Hiscox Village will add real energy to the fan experience, and we look forward to seeing their activation come to life in Templeogue this July.”
As a Premium Partner, Yoplait SKYR will use the event to connect with an active, family-focused audience. Its activation will include product sampling and consumer engagement across the weekend, reinforcing the brand’s positioning around protein, wellness and everyday performance.
“We are delighted to become a Premium Partner for this year’s Hiscox Padel Irish Open 2026,” said Deirdre Lowry, Senior Brand Manager, Yoplait Ireland. “Yoplait SKYR is the match-fit choice for celebrating a sport that brings people together through vibrant activity and fun.”
She added that the product is “naturally high in protein with 0% fat and low sugar,” and said its versatility makes it suitable not only for breakfast but also as an ingredient in breads, dressings and sauces.
For Hiscox Ireland, the arrival of Yoplait SKYR adds further depth to the commercial platform around the tournament.
“The Padel Irish Open continues to build momentum year on year, reflecting the rapid growth of the sport across Ireland,” said Richard O’Dwyer, Managing Director, Hiscox Ireland. “As title sponsor, we’re delighted to welcome Yoplait SKYR as a Premium Partner for 2026, bringing additional energy and engagement to what promises to be another fantastic event.”
Free tickets are available for spectators on Saturday, July 18th and Sunday, July 19th, including the Grand Final, with both adult and under-16 tickets available at no charge through padelirishopen.ie/tickets.
