As part of a regular weekly feature, we have selected a number of video pieces released in recent days that offer a different perspective on sport and the commercial and societal world that surrounds it.

To be honest, we have been coming down all week from the high of a close involvement in last weekend’s Special Olympics Ireland Games, the first to be held in eight years.  From the athletes to the families, the volunteers to the partners, this was an event that will live long in the memory, and just as a reminder…

It was Olympic Day around the world this week, and we liked this piece looking back on the life and ambitions from childhood of Pentathlon champion Kate O’Connor.

And we cannot let the biggest sporting event of the year go by without a reference. This piece of content, looking at Norway’s fan engagement, is enough to make you wish you were there.

Special Olympics Ireland, Sports Direct, Allianz Ireland and Golf Ireland are full members of Sport for Business.
