Online broadcasting of Irish sport takes another big step forward on Saturday night when AerTV and the Basketball Ireland website will carry live coverage of a Premier League double header from the University of Limerick.
In the Women’s Premier League defending National Cup and Premier League Champions UL Huskies, will take on WIT Wildcats at 5pm. Meanwhile in the Men’s Premier League, reigning Champions, UL Eagles, face off with newcomers, Belfast Star, at 7.30pm.
Live coverage of both games gets underway at 4.45 with a feed direct from the Limerick Sports Arena. Among the players that will be taking part are Rachael Vanderwal (pictured in the headband) who took part in the London 2012 Olympics as part of the Great Britain team.

With family and friends dotted all over the world Aertv will bring the game right to their hands wherever they are. For one or two of the newer members of the squad, giving them the opportunity to play in front of cameras for the first time will be nice addition too.”
