Dublin’s five-in-a row Men and three-in-a-row Women have secured a benefit from County sponsor AIG that applies for all new residential home owners who can get 50 per cent off home insurance for a year. All they have to do is enter the code SAM5 when making their application.
We are not sure how many new homeowners there will be in Kerry or Galway over the coming months but at least there will be some compensation for having failed to derail the Dublin drives.
Davy Byrne and Niamh Collins brought along the Sam Maguire and Brendan Martin cups to AIG Insurance’s head office in Dublin yesterday to meet with staff and launch the new deal which is available until the end of November.
In addition there will be a doubling of the discount available on new car Insurance Policies to mark the famous Dublin Double.
“At AIG we are delighted to welcome the Dublin GAA players, as well as the Sam Maguire and Brendan Martin Cups to our offices,” said the company’s Ireland General manager Declan O’Rourke.
“Both the Men’s and Ladies Football teams have achieved phenomenal success and we would like to extend our congratulations to both teams. It’s been a real honour to be associated with Dublin GAA, particularly over such a successful period, and the staff are very happy to share in celebrating with some of the players here today.”
AIG extended their partnership with Dublin GAA, as well as with the Counties Ladies Football and Camogie teams for another five years in the spring of 2018. It also has a partnership with the Ladies Gaelic football Association, the GUI and ILGU in Golf, with Irish Tennis and Badminton and is a key partner of the 20X20 Campaign.
