AIG Insurance 2016 Season Launch

AIG has kicked off its third year of Dublin GAA sponsorship with the announcement of a new series of social media and competitions and a 12 month for the price of ten offer on home insurance backed up by additional reductions for no claim history.

The deal is available to all new customers was was launched yesterday when Ali Twomey, Johnny Cooper, Paul Schutte and Sinead Goldrick came together at Parnell Park to get the year underway from a promotional perspective.

“We’re proud to support the Dubs every step of the way from the hard winter training right through to the big days during the summer,” said AIG General Manager Declan O’Rourke.

“As they start out their season I want to wish each of the teams the very best of luck and I’m confident they know that we will be backing every step in whatever way we can.”

Details were also announced of a social media competition encouraging families to take pictures, in their homes, that represent how they will be #BackingEveryStep this year.  Winners will win tickets to Dublin matches at Croke Park and goodie bags featuring adult and child size jerseys.

Entries had started to come in last night though the one below shows one of the challenges of sponsorship in that the photograph has three Vodafone and four Arnotts branded jerseys with the only AIG one out the back and covered up.

This is one of a series of competitions and promotions AIG will run throughout 2016 linked to #BackingEveryStep.

The theme will run through to match day promotions and via the sponsors official media partners for the season FM104 and the Herald.

The AIG sponsorship covers all Dublin teams with kit and funding for training and facilities spreading all the way through development and juvenile squads as well as those  at senior level across football, hurling, ladies football and camogie.

AIG are one of 13 official partners currently signed up to support Dublin GAA.  Others include Aer Lingus, Toyota, Ballygowan and Skins.
