BDO Ireland has announced the renewal of its long-standing partnership with Leinster Rugby, continuing as the province’s official business advisors for both the organisation and its players. It will also launch a new podcast talking about the crossover from Rugby to the business world.

“As part of our renewed partnership, we are excited to launch a dedicated business advisory campaign in collaboration with Leinster Rugby. This initiative will include a new podcast series where we speak with current and former Leinster players who have forged successful careers in business,” said Cian O’Sullivan, Tax Partner and Head of BDO’s Sports Advisory unit.

“Our aim is to share their insights, inspire both the sporting and business communities, and highlight the strong link between performance on the field and success in the boardroom.”

“Our partnership with Leinster Rugby has gone from strength to strength over the last 13 years, so we are delighted to be extending it further,” said Brian McEnery, Managing Partner of BDO Ireland.

“At BDO, we share Leinster’s commitment to high performance, teamwork and resilience – values that resonate with our people and our clients alike.”

“This renewed agreement is about deepening those connections, supporting Leinster on and off the pitch, and creating opportunities for our clients to experience something truly unique. We see this renewal not just as a continuation, but as an opportunity to explore new ways of working together and broadening the impact of our partnership.”

“BDO have been a valued member of the Leinster Rugby sponsorship family since coming on board in 2012, so we are delighted to be renewing our partnership,” added Eamon De Búrca, Head of Commercial Partnership with Leinster Rugby.

“As a club, we are continually looking to grow, and BDO has been a crucial partner in this regard as official business advisors. As one of Europe’s largest accounting networks, BDO bring an invaluable level of expertise to the partnership, helping drive Leinster
Rugby forward off the field and advising us as an organisation on our future plans.”

“The announcement today strengthens our partnership for the years to come, and we are hugely excited to now be further cementing the relationship so that we may continue to explore what can be done between both our organisations. We look forward to working closely with Brian, Cian, and all the team in BDO.”
