Beko and Leinster GAA have launched the 2025 Beko Club Champion, an initiative celebrating the volunteers who go above and beyond for their clubs and communities across the province.
Now in its ninth year, the partnership invites every GAA club in Leinster to nominate one of their local heroes. Nominations can be submitted online in 200 words or fewer, or via a short video posted to a club’s social media using the hashtag #BekoClubChampion.
One club from each county will win €1,000 worth of GAA training equipment, with winners chosen by an independent judging panel. Entries close at 5 pm on Friday, 26th September 2025.
The 2025 launch was attended by Wexford hurling legend Larry O’Gorman, 2025 Ladies Football All-Ireland champion Niamh Hetherton, Meath footballer Sean Rafferty, and 2022 Camogie Player of the Year Miriam Walsh.
“Beko’s nine-year partnership has had a real and lasting impact,” said Leinster GAA President Derek Kent.
“It shines a light on the often-unsung heroes whose dedication keeps our games alive at the grassroots level.”
“We know the levels of dedication and commitment GAA volunteers put in on their own time,” added Shane Kelly, Beko Ireland’s Head of Sales and Marketing.
“This initiative is about recognising and rewarding that effort. We want to encourage all clubs to nominate a worthy member and be in with a chance of becoming a Beko Club Champion.”
Full entry details are available at Leinster GAA’s website.
