Leading bookmaker BOYLE Sports has donated £10,000 to the Motor Neurone Disease Association, following a successful charitable initiative tied to its title sponsorship of the 2025 BOYLE Sports World Grand Prix.
As part of its activation around the high-profile darts tournament, BOYLE Sports pledged to donate £20 for every double 20 hit throughout the week-long event at the Mattioli Arena in Leicester.
The initiative culminated in a total of 404 hits, including the winning dart of champion Luke Littler in Sunday’s final, raising £8,080.
In a show of goodwill and to mark the tournament’s success, BOYLE Sports increased the final donation to £10,000.
Littler, who topped the tournament’s double 20 stats with 78 hits, was invited to select the charity beneficiary. The newly crowned World Grand Prix champion chose the Motor Neurone Disease Association, recognising the critical work the organisation does in research and patient support.
“What a fantastic effort from the players and we’re thrilled to see the darts community rally behind such an important cause,” said Gill Blake-Swift, Director of Brand at BOYLE Sports.
“We are proud to support the Motor Neurone Disease Association with this £10,000 donation and we hope it helps advance the vital research and care they carry out for a cause close to so many hearts.”
“This was a fantastic gesture by BOYLE Sports and we would like to thank them for their generosity,” said Adam Perfect, PDC Head of Commercial.
“The Motor Neurone Disease Association is an incredibly deserving charity and this contribution, as chosen by Luke, will help make a difference to the outstanding work they do.”
