BoyleSports have further boosted their support for Irish Horse Racing by agreeing to sponsor a race on each of the four days of this month’s Christmas Racing Festival at Limerick Racecourse.

Ireland’s largest retail bookmaker is the new sponsor of the BoyleSports Faugheen Grade 1 Novice Chase on St. Stephen’s Day, the BoyleSports Bumper on the 27th December, the BoyleSports Dawn Run Grade 2 Mares Novice Chase on the 28th December and the BoyleSports Sporting Limerick Grade 2 Hurdle on the 29th December.

The BoyleSports Faugheen Grade 1 Novice Chase is the feature race of the four-day festival and is run over a distance of 2 miles and 3½ furlongs. Since being upgraded to Grade 1 status the race has been won by Hardline, Faugheen and Colreevy.

BoyleSports was established by John Boyle in 1982. Headquartered in Dundalk, County Louth, the organisation has over 320 retail branches throughout Ireland and the UK.

Its primary horseracing sponsorship is the Boylesports Irish National at Fairyhouse at Easter time and it is also the long term backer of the Boylesports Irish Greyhound Derby.
