Denise Gaule, Michael Lyster, Rebecca Hennelly and Mags D'Arcy 3/8/2016RTÉ Sport has confirmed the line up for its breakthrough live broadcast of the two Liberty Insurance Camogie All Ireland Championship semi-finals on Saturday August 13th.

Galway will play Kilkenny in the first game at Nolan Park and this will be followed at 3.15 by Wexford against the hat trick seeking Cork.

Michael Lyster will be in the chair for the near four hour live broadcast and he will be joined for analysis by Cork All Ireland winning Captain Anna Geary and Jill Horan.

RTÉ has been a long time broadcaster of the Camogie Final which will take place this year on September 11th but this is a first for the semi-final double header.  It follows on from a steady uplift in coverage of the Championship through inclusion in the Sunday Game over the past two years.

Liberty Insurance and the Camogie Association have also been active this year in promoting a major skills challenge for clubs around the country and RTÉ has been supporting this through the Eoghan McDermott show on 2FM, bringing sport to a wider and younger audience than would be the normal demographic for coverage.
