Connacht Rugby fans stepped up this week with a surge to buy a limited edition ‘Heroes’ jersey, specially produced to support a range of charities.
Elverys Intersport and BLK came together with Connacht to produce the shirt which was expected to be on sale over a ten-day period but which sold out completely in only eight hours.
The shirt cost €70 with 100 per cent of profits from the Limited-Edition jersey will go directly to ALONE and the two Connacht-based Hospices.
The jersey sports a unique design inspired by Superheroes, and is a unique way of saying thanks to all Superheroes fighting day in, day out to makes the lives of the most vulnerable better.
The caption ‘Home Advantage’ is a reminder that for now, this game is won by staying at home, but is also a nod to what will be brighter and healthier days ahead
All of Connacht’s sponsors donated their normal logo space to help make the jersey possible.
